If Ahmadinejad loses the election, it'll still be no cause for celebration

By Benyamin Solomon
During the upcoming 2009 sham Presidential election in Iran, many people have stated that they hope that Ahmadinejad loses the election. I agree that Ahmadinejad is no good. I see Ahmadinejad as the complete personification of Iran's regime. Well, to me, no good is to say the least. I see Ahmadinejad as one of the Iranian regime's most vicious monster, who served as an IRGC [Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps] terrorist during the early years of the Khomeinist regime and who, after becoming president, called for Israel to be "wiped off the map" [calling for Israel to be elimiated has been contantly repeated by Iranian regime officials including the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, for destroying Israel is part of the basic ideology of the regime] and called the Holocaust a "myth".  But it must be noted that Mir Hossein Mousavi is virtually no better than Ahmadinejad. No Iranian presidential candidate is any better than Ahmadinejad.
What's commonly forgotten is that the Iranian regime only allows their guys to run. If Ahmadinejad gets his butt kicked, yes he's no longer president. Ahmadinejad is not even the only guy in Iran's oppressive Islamo-Fascist regime. He's just one of them.
Mir Hossein Mousavi also has a bloodstained history with him. He served as Prime Minister for the Khomeinist regime from 1981-1989. He was well-liked by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini. Mousavi helped to found Hezbollah and is an accomplice to the crime of killing 30,000 political prisoners. Khomeini issued a fatwa that calls for the killing of Salman Rushdie for publishing his book "The Satanic Verses". Mousavi called Salman Rushdie an "American mercenary" and supports Khomeini's call to execute him.
There is another fake reformist running in the Iranian presidential candidate. He is Medhi Karroubi, who is an advisor to Ali Khamenei and who, like Mousavi, is a member of the Expediency Discernment Council, which supervises all branches of the Iranian regime and which advises the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
If Mousavi or any other fake reformist was to kick Ahmadinejad out of office, there would be some celebration for a little while. The celebration would stop. Even if Ahmadinejad is kicked out of office, the same regime with the same ideology is still in power. There still wouldn't be that much change. Iran would still continue to be a global threat, continue to support terrorism, continue to export radical Islam, continue in its oppression of the Iranian people and would continue with their nuclear weapons program in order for nuclear weapons to be used in the global jihad.
I agree that Ahmadinejad is horrible. But if he loses the sham 2009 election, it wouldn't produce significant change. Guys who have the same ideology as Ahmadinejad will still be in power and would still oppress Iranians who seek to have REAL democratic change.
